On Wednesday, November 15th, we welcomed approximately 160 Somerville residents to our Community Meeting at SOMERNOVA which was sponsored by the Union Square Neighborhood Council. At this community meeting, the team at SOMERNOVA led a presentation to provide further context about our proposal as well as answer specific questions that Somerville residents had posed at the previous meeting. At the conclusion of the presentation, those in attendance in-person and virtually had the opportunity to ask additional questions regarding the development. 

We had a robust conversation open to all in which we discussed specific needs of the community and how the SOMERNOVA campus expansion can best create a more equitable future for our youth, for our planet and for Somerville. These conversations are what have shaped and continue to shape the vision and design of our campus, which is driven by our youth community center, The Dojo, and our tough-tech tenants who are solving the world’s most important challenges.
